GUIDANCE AND INFORMATION SERVICE
ESAN/Cendoc addresses the information needs of the UESAN community members (students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff) through a personalized assistance service provided by specialized library staff.
This service includes:
- Search, location, and evaluation of electronic and printed resources for:
- Advisory on the use of information resources and search tools, with the aim of supporting the academic and professional development of users.
- Timely and efficient attention to inquiries and information needs.
- Assist teachers in identifying and locating bibliographic material for their courses.
- Support researchers in identifying and selecting information sources for articles and research projects.
- Preparation of specialized bibliographies, according to the information needs of the users.
- Obtaining bibliographic material (book chapter or part of a document) and/or journal articles that are not available in the library's collections.
- Advisory on the use of bibliographic citation standards (APA, Chicago, among others).
- Personalized training in the use of specialized databases and research tools, upon user request.
