Virtual library (Discoverer)

This tool allows for an integrated view of the results obtained from the entered search term (a word or phrase), as well as the application of filters that facilitate the delimitation of information according to the required type of content, whether it be a "scientific journal article" or "specialized publication article."
The search results gather information from most of the databases subscribed to by ESAN University, as well as a selection of open-access resources. Likewise, articles from printed journals are included, which are available in our libraries and can also be located in the online catalog. Users may also access the articles incorporated into our institutional repository, thus offering a broad and centralized view of the available academic and specialized resources.

Electronic journal search engine  

It is a search tool designed to facilitate the location of specific journals in their electronic version, either by the publication title or its ISSN. This tool gathers the journals available in the databases subscribed by ESAN University, as well as those from open access sources.
The search results offer detailed and useful information for consultation, such as the coverage data for each journal (indicating the range of years available in full text). Likewise, a direct link to the database hosting the publication is provided, and a search window is included that allows exploration of the articles contained within the selected journal, thereby optimizing the process of retrieving academic and specialized information.

Online catalogue

Through this option, you can locate journal articles available in physical format in the Undergraduate Library and/or the Graduate Library. To access the catalog, you must follow these instructions:

• Log in with your institutional username and password.
• Locate the simple search window.
• Select the option Journal Articles in the Search Base field, in order to apply specific filters that allow for more precise results.
• Enter the search terms according to your interest (a word or a phrase).

Remember to review the results obtained, which will indicate in which journals the articles can be fo found.

Google Scholar  

It is a specialized search engine that allows you to locate articles from scientific journals, theses, books, and academic abstracts published by various reliable sources, such as academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities, and other academic institutions.
This tool facilitates access to scientific literature from various disciplines and levels of specialization, and allows the identification of both open-access resources and content available through subscription. To view and directly access the resources subscribed by ESAN University, it is recommended to configure Google Scholar with the institutional links of ESAN University, which will allow recognition of full-text access to the documents available through our databases. If you are unable to find a specific article within the resources available in our library, you can request assistance from the Guidance and Information Service by completing the Contact us form. To do this, we ask that you clearly provide the details of the required article (title, author, year of publication, journal, or other relevant information), which will allow us to address your request more quickly and efficiently.
Our team will review the information provided and will contact you to provide the full text of the article or, if applicable, guide you and suggest alternatives from other similar information sources.
