PERSONAL USERS

 

ESAN/Cendoc offers the entire community of ESAN University access to a wide variety of online resources, which are designed to support the teaching-learning process and the academic production of the UESAN community. These resources are available through the official ESAN websites and the Academic Portal (UEVirtual, ESANVirtual, and DPAVirtual).
To access these services, it is essential to have an active institutional username and password. This ensures the security and personalization of access, in addition to guaranteeing access to all the tools available for enrolled ESAN students.
Among the resources that users will be able to access are the online catalog, the databases subscribed to by the institution, and the digital library where the collection of mandatory readings for the academic curricula is located. s.

 

Guidance and Information Service

This service from ESAN/Cendoc is designed to meet the informational needs of the ESAN university community through a personalized assistance system. This service is managed by library staff and can be conducted online; to do so, the Contact us form available on our platform must be completed.

 

Document delivery service

If you are unable to find a specific book, journal article, or document within the resources available in our libraries, you can request support through the Guidance and Information Service  by completing the Contact us form. For better assistance, we recommend entering the details of the required book, journal article, or document, such as the title, author, year of publication, publisher, journal title, or any other relevant information.
Our team will review the submitted information and will contact the requester to provide information about the requested book, journal article, or document and, if necessary, suggest additional bibliography related to the main topic of the inquiry.

 

INSTITUTIONAL USERS

Information services to external parties

ESAN/Cendoc provides the business community, both national and international, with access to specialized information services available under a subscription model. which allows companies to access exclusive and relevant content for their sector and operations.
The services are delivered through information product packages, organized in digital format. Each package is sent directly to the subscriber's email or, if not, to a representative designated by the subscribing institution, ensuring that the information arrives in a timely and personalized manner. Additionally, the provided content covers a variety of key topics according to their sector of activity and interest.
The services offered to institutional users are as follows: 

Specialized journal alerts: periodic bibliographic alerts are offered to subscribers, providing access to the most recent articles published in specialized electronic journals. Each bibliographic alert includes the references of the articles along with their respective abstracts. The subscribing user has the flexibility to select a certain number of journal titles that match their interests; and will subsequently receive the selected articles via their email. The delivery will be periodic, with a frequency adapted to the periodicity of the selected magazines.

Thematic alerts: this service provides periodic bibliographic alerts focused on key topics within ESAN's areas of expertise, allowing subscribers to stay updated on the most relevant advancements and news in their field. The subscribing user selects the topics of their interest in coordination with the ESAN/Cendoc library staff, as a form of advisory. The alerts include updated bibliographic references of articles, documents, and books available through ESAN/Cendoc. The delivery of these alerts is done quarterly (four times a year), ensuring constant updates.

Specialized searches: this service is designed to meet specific information requests, providing subscribers with personalized attention in the search for the most relevant and up-to-date resources in their field of interest. These requests are handled by the ESAN/Cendoc team of librarians, who conduct detailed searches in the institution's databases and other digital resources. After submitting their request, the user will receive a curated bibliography on the chosen topic within a maximum of 48 hours. In this way, the user will need to select the articles of interest, which will be sent to their email. If it is a printed text, it will also be scanned and sent to your email.

If required, thematic and journal alerts, as well as requests, can be managed through a representative assigned by the subscribing institution.
