PERSONAL USERS

ESAN/Cendoc provides the ESAN University community with access to a number of online resources; To make use of these, you must enter through their website or the Academic Portal (UEVirtual, ESANVirtual and DPAVirtual). Therefore, you must have your active institutional username/password to be able to enter.

In this way, users will be able to use the Virtual Library, the subscription databases, the digital Library and other online resources.

Guidance and Information Service

ESAN/Cendoc meets the information requirements of the ESAN community through a personalized assistance system attended by the library staff in charge according to the requirements of each member of the University; This communication can be online, to coordinate fill out the Contact Us form. 

Document supply service

At the user's request, ESAN/Cendoc will try to locate and deliver electronic copies of: journal articles, documents or book chapters; We will consult the information resources at our disposal. Electronic copies will be sent to the email address of the user who requested it; preferably in PDF electronic format, within the current legal framework.

Information services to external

ESAN/Cendoc offers the national and international business community specialized information services at the request of those interested with a subscription cost.

These services are offered in packages of information products that are presented in digital format, which are sent via email to the subscriber of the service or to an assigned representative of the subscribing institution.

Specialized journal alerts: periodic bibliographic alerts containing the latest articles published in electronic journals available on ESAN/Cendoc. The subscriber will select a certain number of journal titles to receive periodically via email the bibliographic references of the articles of the selected journals with their respective summaries. The periodicity of the deliveries will depend on the periodicity of the selected magazines. If required, requests for journal articles are channeled through the assigned representative of the subscribing institution.

Thematic alerts: periodic bibliographic alerts that contain topics within the competence of ESAN. The subscriber will choose their topics of interest in coordination with the ESAN/Cendoc library staff to receive the current bibliographic references of articles, documents and/or books available at ESAN/Cendoc via email. The frequency of deliveries is quarterly (4 times a year). If required, requests for materials are channeled through the assigned representative of the subscribing institution.

Specialized searches: search service for specific information at the request of the interested party. It is attended by librarians who search for information in the databases available in ESAN/Cendoc and other additional resources. The subscriber will receive in a maximum period of 48 hours after his request a selective bibliography of his subject with bibliographical references so that he can select those of his interest. The service is complemented by the supply of the documents selected by the subscriber. Digital texts will be sent by email and in the case of printed texts, they will be scanned.
