ESAN/Cendoc provides a series of services that support the development and management of research; These aids range from training in the development of information skills to access and locate relevant information, to the use of tools that allow the development of research.

The services provided through its staff of librarians are the following:

Development of information skills

Through various sessions (face-to-face or virtual) the researcher is provided with the guidelines for the use of available research tools that allow them to identify their informational needs, locate, evaluate, organize and critically analyze the information necessary for their research, contributing to the generation of new knowledge from the implementation of the research process.

Información services oriented to the research process

The researcher, in coordination with the librarian, will develop pertinent search strategies for the subject of his research, adapting the searches according to the information needs of each stage of the investigation; so they will work collaboratively during the information selection process. They will make use of all available tools, both those subscribed to by ESAN/Cendoc and those of open access, for example, the various scientific databases, scientific search engines, etc.

Identity management support services

The librarian will guide the researcher to articulate ways to facilitate establishing their digital (scientific) identity in the academic field. For this, standards, identifiers and the possibility of verifying research results in networks and platforms of various natures will be used. It is important to register with various research platforms both nationally and internationally based on the researcher's specialization.
