ALUMNI INFORMATION SERVICE (SIEX)


ESAN/Cendoc offers access to its resources and information services to alumni of the undergraduate programs at ESAN University and the graduate programs.

Conditions of service:

  • The service is personal and non-transferable.
  • It is necessary to coordinate in advance with the library by writing to biblioteca@esan.edu.pe to schedule the campus visit.
  • For assistance, the alumnus must go to the Circulation Desk and present one of the following identification documents:
    • ID card
    • Foreign resident card
    • Graduate or alumni ID (*)
  • During the weeks of midterm and final exams for undergraduate students, in-person services will be suspended.
  • During the visit, the user must comply with the provisions established in the Alumni Information Service (SIEx) Regulations

Available information services

Reading room service

Service that allows direct consultation of bibliographic and periodical materials within the library's facilities during business hours.

Available material: 

  • Books and documents from the general collection.
  •  Magazines.
  • Theses and research papers in printed format up to the year 2019 (exclusive for alumni of doctoral programs, master's degrees, PADE, and PAE).

Procedure: 

  1. Identify the material you wish to consult through the online catalog.
  2. Locate the material on the open shelf.
  3. At the end of your consultation of books and/or magazines, please place them in the return carts located next to the shelves.
  4. If the material has restricted access, the user must request it at the Circulation Desk
  5. At the end of the consultation, you must return it directly to the library staff.

 

Guidance and information service

ESAN/Cendoc provides a personalized assistance service to meet the information needs of the UESAN community, managed by specialized library staff.
The service includes guidance in the use of resources and search tools, support in locating and evaluating printed and electronic sources for academic work, courses, and research, bibliography preparation, citation standards advice, training in specialized databases, and obtaining material not available in the library.

 

Document delivery service

If you are unable to find a book chapter, part of a document, or journal article within the resources available in our libraries, you can request support through the Guidance and Information Service by completing the Contact us form. For better assistance, we recommend entering the details of the book chapter, part of the required document, or journal article; such as the title, author, year of publication, publisher, journal title, or other relevant information.

Our team will review the information submitted and will contact you to provide information about the requested book chapter, part of a document, or journal article, and, if necessary, suggest additional bibliography related to the main topic of your inquiry.
