Virtual Library (Discoverer) 

It allows you to view the search term results and filter them by content type, such as journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations, or theses, among others. The results include content from subscribed databases, open access resources, materials from the institutional repository, and bibliographic records of printed material available in our libraries, accessible through the online catalog.  

Databases

A series of subscription databases with various content that meet the academic requirements of the university. Most of the databases can be accessed remotely with institutional username and password validation. To obtain information from the Marketing Data Plus, Peruvian Legal Information System (SPIJ), and Top Online Platinum databases, please request it by filling out the Contact us form.  

Online catalog

It allows you to locate books, documents, theses, and journal articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, physically available in our libraries (Undergraduate Library and/or Graduate Library); in addition, a selection of freely accessible electronic books. To perform the search, log in with your institutional username and password. Then, enter the search terms (a word or a phrase) in the simple search option and, in the Limit search to section, select the type of document of your preference. Finally, click the Search button to view the results. 

E-journal search engine  

It is a search tool designed to facilitate the location of specific journals in their electronic version, either by the publication title or its ISSN. This tool gathers the journals available in the databases subscribed by ESAN University, as well as those from open access sources.
The search results offer detailed and useful information for consultation, such as the coverage data of each journal (indicating the range of years available in full text). Likewise, a direct link to the database hosting the publication is provided, and a search window is included that allows users to explore the articles contained within the selected journal, thereby optimizing the process of retrieving academic and specialized information.

E-book search engine

It is a search tool that allows you to locate specific eBooks by title or ISBN, available in the databases subscribed to by ESAN University, as well as in other open access sources.
The search results display detailed information for each book, such as the author, ISBN, publisher, and year of publication, as well as a direct link to the database where it is available. Access to the full text—whether for online reading, printing, or downloading—will depend on the conditions and functionalities of each database.

Alphabetical list presenting detailed information about the subscribed databases, as well as a selection of repositories and open access information portals. Each resource includes a description of its content and scope, which facilitates the identification and selection of the most suitable sources for academic research needs.

Each source presents a description of its content and scope, facilitating the identification of the most relevant resources according to the research topic.

Institutional repository

The Institutional Repository of ESAN University aims to collect, organize, preserve, and disseminate the academic and scientific production generated by the university. This repository gathers books, working papers, journal articles, research papers, and theses, and constitutes an open-access source that facilitates the visibility, consultation, and dissemination of knowledge produced by the ESAN academic community, both nationally and internationally. 

Academic scholar  

It is a specialized search engine that allows you to locate articles from scientific journals, theses, books, and academic abstracts published by various reliable sources, such as academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities, and other academic institutions.
This tool facilitates access to scientific literature from various disciplines and levels of specialization, and allows for the identification of both open access resources and content available thru subscription. To view and directly access the resources subscribed by ESAN University, it is recommended to configure Google Scholar with ESAN University's institutional links, which will allow recognition of full-text access to documents available thru our databases.
